Could I get into biomedicine or dentistry?

So I'm about finished with year 12, and estimate an ENTER of 82-88 if I don't screw up majorly.

Most courses like these require a 96 ENTER, but I fit under the following special entry criterias:

*lower socio-economic background
*under-represented school
*living with sick family member who I have to take care of (have medical evidence and such)
*disrupted family life
*non-English speaking background (although been here 12 years which is over the limit I believe).

Could I still have a chance of getting into one of the more exclusive courses even with an ENTER much below 96? I'm referring mostly to Melb Uni and Monash which you may have already figured out.

Biomed at monash* is possible. go for graduate dentistry i think..

Have you heard of UoM's Guaranteed Entry for 2010 SEAS applicants?

That will certainly lift your hopes.
