Perhaps it is difficult to get the state average, but it just didn't appear so (i don't even do latin haa) and i still wouldn't even be able to gauge the difficulty of the exam even if you explained it to me.. so i'll just listen that it is ^__^ it is 'latin' after all.

Also, because of its difficulty, I'd say that only the students who are good at the subject would do it, unlike in some other subjects. As a result, it would be much harder to get a good mark in it

yep thats true i checked before actually.
example to get roughly 30 (using the mean score of exam) in Italian it is just under 50%, whereas in latin in is about 63% though Latin still out does the other languages due to it's scaling (scaled 46 in italian is around 70%)

Most likely, I can only think of one that does (MGS)

Pretty much...although there are a few exceptions.
From memory, schools that offer Latin include Xavier, MGS, PEGS, MGGS, Haileybury and Camberwell. Uni High is probably the most outstanding exception.
AzureBlue:
Just out of interest, what % of people studying Latin typically get a 30+ study score? Raw, that is.
