same as any other degree, just over 50%.
what i think about this latin:
if your willing to commit to working at a language, and ignoring the fact that it's dead and (according to most) extremely boring to learn via the schooling methods, then you will be rewarded greater then pretty much all other languages. i'm actually learning a bit of latin now and it's kind of fun xD however, i am skipping the grammar specifics (probably why..)
(stupid procrastination)

So the fact that only 1 or 2 people get 48+ in Latin each year is an indicator that the relative amount of students taking the subject is small, not because the distribution of study scores is different?

Yep, there aren't enough students to fill up all of the study scores, although if a student (or two) do exceptionally well compared to the rest of the cohort, then maybe they could get a 49 or 50
vexx:
^ getting a 49 or 50 is pointless though, you get pretty much the same score with ~40 hah.
hmm i flicked through another part of the latin course, and have no idea what this 'scanning' and 'using the meter' means, i searched google but it looks confusing >_>
AzureBlue:
Lol but you get like a 54-55, it's pretty cool :) I don't know anyone who has gotten 50 lol, they are rare but do exist, I think the people who get 48s are already latin genuises :)
