I think you'd still have to do the foundation maths subject, MTH1010 or whatever PLUS have a good WAM. I wanted to do Arts (Global)/Commerce and had the same issue. Then I realised... Commerce bores me completely :D anyway..

I really enjoy Arts and it's pretty formulated to what I want to do after uni so I'm studying Politics and International studies. I enjoy learning languages and want to work overseas so I'm studying German. I sometimes think I could probably transfer to Arts/Law but then realise I'm only thinking that because it sounds more impressive, not because I'm actually interested in it or it would help with my career after uni. I guess an issue with a lot of Arts students is they choose Arts because they don't know what to do with their life, and this can leave them stranded afterwards...

It really depends on if there's specific subjects that are going to interest you/add any depth to your other degree. I know a lot of Arts/Law students who do International Studies or Politics because it can be useful to studying law. You could probably incorporate a range of units in with a business degree.

Do you know which subjects you would consider from Arts?

You can transfer from anything to anything as long as you have the prerequisite VCE subjects or uni equivalents of them.

And a good average.

how good is good though? 75% for business (law) into straight law?

is that 78% in any course or does it change depending on if you do arts, science, business, commerce, etc? Would it be difficult to achieve this average in a business course?

Also im not sure whether I should put down Bachelor of Business (Law) or just a Bachelor of Business. Apparently you can choose your major after the first year. Why would the Business (Law) degree be higher than the Business degree if the business degree without a designated major goes for the same length and gives you another year to choose which area you specialise in?
