hm I wonder if UoM will find it suss that I have a withdrawn subject when I apply for transfer ><

I'm still kicking myself for not doing midyear transfer.

Everyone I spoke to (plus myself) who applied for mid year at UoM said it was a massive pain and a lot of calling up to find out what was happening ensued. 2 months after I applied and my application is still 'unassessed'. Go VTAC, woooo reliability!

omfg that's so dodgy =[

Are you still going for end of year transfer VTAC or are you staying at Monash?

I'm actually really enjoying Monash so I think I'll stay (even though I think UoM just got a whole lot better by changing the breadth component). I'd ideally like to transfer to RMIT International Studies, but I don't want to have wasted another year only to start from the beginning next year.

In an attempt to stay on topic... lol. Is there any way I can get the 'withdrawn' off my transcript? It looks so messy and I know I didn't defer after the census date.

Ugh, so useless! I seriously called them like 10 times within a month, and the last time they said it was 'with the assessors'.... clearly not -__-
What happens end of August?

I don't think so.

What do you mean by "transcript"?

If you mean your online enrolment page, then that discontinued won't go away. It stays on your internal records, and there's nothing you can do about that.

HOWEVER, it doesn't appear on your transcript. By transcript I mean a real transcript that you pay student services $20 for.

I have half a dozen 'withdrawn's on my internal records, since I've changed my units around a few times, but none of these appear on my official transcript because I withdrew from them all before census date.

I got an official transcrip from monash when I applied for UoM and it DID have withdrawn for those four units.

There's an extra cutoff date before census that makes withdrawn appear on your transcript I think. As far as I know there's nothing you can do about it.

Yeah, you're right.

For this semester, it was August 16th.
