if anyone wants a pretty easy paper (found it very easy) then heff 09 is a good one to choooose. i wonder if this is far easier than the real vcaa exams? i think i'll do one of them soon.

VCAA exams are a joke.  Matrices module last year had to be the easiest 9 marks you will ever get.

Learn to read the question properly, and no shit, you will get 50.

haha that's awesome then, i doubt 50, i'm aiming for your 48 :) but i am not too fussed if i don't quite reach it mehh.
i think i'll try a vcaa paper next week then, cos the heff 09 i got 97/100 (exam 1 and 2 combined) where two of which were silly calculator errors D:
did you basically just do heff/mav/vcaa/checkpoints? i'm considering buying checkpoints next week.

i don't even remember what I did exactly, but i certainly remember doing mav and heffernan.  checkpoints was also pretty good.

i remember one time i did a neap or an insight and it was the most irrelevant piece of rubbish ever.

only tip i would give, (this is what screwed me on exam 2)  know what it means to describe a 'general pattern.'  (which literally means describe what you see.  has really nothing to do with the trends or seasonal variation stuff)

Can you elaborate on the general pattern stuff?

general pattern means the overall pattern i.e. drawing a line through the linear relationship and seeing if it is strong/weak, positive/negative and linear without needing to explain if it is 'increasing dramatically during 2007 and 2009 with a gradual increase after 2009

Isn't it like secular; increasing or decreasing steadily?

Did pretty terrible the other day on the NEAP 2010 exam - embarrasing. Then tried to vcaa 06 paper and far far easier, which is gooood. Neap is so stupid >< they should be avoided !!! (as i have heard so many times)

If you provided that answer for the 2009 vcaa exam it would have been incorrect.

Oh okay, so what I said you shouldn't do, you actually would need to o.0. Got mixed up with something else

Are you guys sure? I am worried that VCAA actually put those supposed 'irrelevant' questions in the exams as everyone thinks like that
