1-5 marks lost in Exam 1
4-5 marks lost in Exam 2 should be around a 44

Well further is much (MUCH!) more competitive. Last year 2158 people in the state got over 40 compared to 1280 people in psychology so it therefore means that you will need much better marks in the exam then you think to get a 44 in Further

ive heard stuff like if i under achieve in sacs then beat the ppl in the exam then the sac marks would get scaled up higher than the people who beat me in sacs.

sounds confusing lol but is that true?

I believe especially in furhter its best to get very high if not the highest scores in sacs, otherwise you are greatly disadvantaged...
im currently sitting on 60/60 for sacs and i got my matrices one monday :)
hoping to get a 45~ in further.

when it comes to high study scores and further (and probs in other subjects) it also depends on the year you do it. i know someone who dropped 6 marks total (including exams) and got 50 and another person who did further in a different year, dropped 2 and got 46, so thats another aspect when considering study scores

Let's say for SACs you're rank 10, and you ace both exams. Depending on the other students in your cohort, whatever the 10th highest exam mark is, your SAC will get moderated to roughly that grade so you really have to rely on the top achievers in your further cohort
