do participants rights come under the category of 'ethics' or is it just beneficience, integrity, respect for persons and justice?

anything to do with the rights of participants definitely comes under ethics.

Ethics is basically the conduct of the experimenter in relation to the experiment.

depends
ethical PRINCIPLES = jirb ( justice beneficience etc etc)
but ethical factors/ issues/ guidelines = participant rights ... informed consent .. etc etc

i think theres ethics then theres ethical considerations. I really havent looked into that part of my book that much but I know theres a division between stuff like beneficence and stuff like informed consent.
