Does anyone else do GMA combined with Further 3/4? As in in the same class at school? That's what my school does, so we end up doing mostly the Further 3/4 work, even though I chose the GMA class to get ready for Speccy -.-
Yes.. and I freaking hate it with a passion.
Honestly, box plots made me rage so much. Thinking about it makes me sick :(

What textbook are you guys using for GMA?
Heinemann :@

my school is weirder. gma is compulsory to everyone for one semester
AND
we always use our essentials methods book in general (like for 3 chapters so far) instead of our gma textbook, WHEN ITS NOT EVEN METHODS CLASS ;(

That is weird. Wouldn't you get a lot of people not being able to cope with the course?

yup, but they make the course wayy easier. they try to corporate some m.methods in it for those who arent doing semester 2 gma (which is practically the whole class)
the tests are sooo easy as in i got 100 for every gma test so far... a huge disadvantage for me cause im intending to do spesh next year and am getting 0 practice/prep work for it
and its bad because most people, more than half of cohort who are doing methods, want to drop actual math methods because theyre not coping with doing two maths. they think it because methods is too hard wen its more because of the workload we get from having to do spesh 1/2 along with methods 1/2

Try some of the stuff uploaded on the GMA Resources thread. They are at MHS standard, so they're supposed to be a bit harder than in other schools :)
