No, that's fine - especially if you go through it well on the holidays :)

Especially since methods is so "methodical" - though not as special as Specialist Maths :P

Save yourself the time learning from the textbook.  Email Derrick Ha, get his revision book, and you'll be able to learn everything in half the time...

Then just do a few questions from the text.  Then just do about as many practice exams as possible. I used to think it wasn't good to go too hard on prac exams, but methods is an exception.

Exam questions are so much easier when you done them before, and there are a range of different cases which unless you are a genius (you probably are :P) you will need to get exposed to, get them wrong, and then that is how you will learn.

Yeah don't even buy the textbook... you can learn the course from jack's notes or dha's book. Then maybe do all of checkpoints (it's very short... take maybe a day or two). then get started on the 500 practice exams available.

I concur.  Just download it off here.  A soft copy is sufficient.

I'm doing 3/4 math methods without 1/2. Went in without even knowing how to add two fractions. Didn't have a tutor or a helpful teacher so was a struggle. Now I'm alright at it, but I do regret not doing 1/2 as I would have been so much better at it now.
