Materials for rendering excersize in exam

Hi guys, doing viscom this year, I was just wondering if anyone has any examples of a rendered steel/wood/fabric texture? I have a good feeling something like that will show up this year ):

i'm thinking of getting photos of such materials and practising rendering them... i really need to work on that
