Worth doing old unit three trials?

With equilibrium and whatnot in the pre-2008 unit three papers is anyone going back and doing those?

Would there be much difference in doing unit three and unit four papers? [as we are filtering out all the relevant content either way].

They have some good questions that are relevant in the old chemistry papers that will definitely be of help, It's a good idea to do this if you want to focus on a specific type of question that is in the old study design.

I actually did this for the couple of days leading up to my unit 3 exam, where instead of doing the dud tsfx/tssm exams, i went back to the old design and just went through and picked out relevant questions. Definitely helpful due to them being in the VCAA style.

So perhaps good also for pre-exam revision that is light/not requiring a full exam.

on your advice martoman, I am going through from 2004 (I have a list of relevant questions) and it seems to be worth it, the questions are obviously what you would expect from VCAA making them better.
