Will you guys be bringing in your textbooks or a bound book?
I am beginning to make mine today, tearing up my textbook and sticking it in with handouts from the teacher.   :uglystupid2: :uglystupid2: :uglystupid2:

Made a bound reference a while back. The textbook I have is pretty useless.

Aww i don't know whether i should bring my textbook or cheatbook!

Textbook is more safe, but it can save time by making a summary book!
It's all over now..

Save time? Making the summary notes from scratch would more likely waste a lot of time than do anything to help.

You're better off using that time to do prac exams and take in the textbook that would basically have everything covered.

You can argue bringing in the Essentials textbook, some concepts are pretty poorly explained and not everything is explored (eg. Networks - maximisation using Hungarian algorithm, project crashing and some aspects of the Linear module is dud)

our teacher stressed throughout the year that we make a bound book as we learnt the stuff.
i pretty much did this, need to add one or two more little equations in and it's done... it's pretty attractive. hahha
starting that from scratch now would be difficult...
in the notes section for further maths there's a pretty good summary book, i pasted quite a few pages of it into my notes aha

201_: Postgraduate Medicine...

I've compiled all my notes, with the computerised notes and make quite a large book, which has indents to find everything, but at the very beginning I have my quick references, such as my template answers, and other formulas that are not on formula sheet or in my eactivity.

But I do enjoy my reference, its colour coodinated and has a pretty cover.

I think it helped me to summarise the entire course, and realise my weaknesses.
