What you need to do is pick a point on the coil and then apply the right hand grip rule. For example, at the very most right side of the coil, where it has a "turning point" the current is into the page.  This gives you an clockwise magnetic field flowing around the right side of the coil.

With solenoids, you use your fingers as the current, so knowing the current is going from positive to negative, you would curl your fingers around the solenoid from the right, so your thumb faces up. Then you know the top is the north pole of the field then draw fields going from top to bottom as you would a bar magnet.

exactly what Blakhitman said
"Don’t ever let somebody tell you you can’t do something, not even me.  Alright?  You got a dream, you gotta protect it.  People can’t do something themselves, they wanna tell you you can’t do it.  If you want something, go get it, period." - Chris Gardner
