Central Idea for Hedda Gabler - Henrik Ibsen?

My exam is next week, and I still don't know what to have as central idea for Hedda Gabler. I was thinking about Ibsen's ideas on morals - whats right and wrong, to acheive goals. For example, Hedda wants to be happy, to do this she is manipulative which is wrong, but she manipulates Lovborg (for example) so that her husband can succeed, although in the end it is for her self, she is still helping her husband.
Im not sure if this is a good idea about Ibsens context, any ideas?

i'm going with suppression of society caused by strict class and gender roles.

so Hedda is suppressed
A) because she's a woman in a male dominated world
and
B) because she was brought up to consider herself of the upper class, the segregated class system is immoral and leads to her being unable to interact with those she was told to consider 'below her'

I don't have a central idea, per se, but I'm strange like that. I like to just state that she's trapped in a life she feels unable to escape from, and each paragraph goes into the reasons why she's trapped or why she's unhappy (and with this also examine the suppression of society from gender roles), and then towards the end I show how she lives through others instead (ie, Lovborg).
