could somebody explain the semantic activation theory?
2010: Biology 37+   Literature 25+    Physical ed 36+   Psychology 44+
ATAR: 80+ and I will be happy.

I thought the retrieval cues trigger a node which in turn ignite a crescendo of activation of nodes that are meaningfully linked to original node.

More seriously though, I couldn't really contribute more than what jinny has. One, because I'm shit with definitions, and two it's a pretty ok definition.

You might want to add that fact that the nodes are connected to each other by the meaningfulness between them, and maybe what the node represents (words/concepts). Otherwise it's fine.
