do we need to know the history of employee relations if so which ones?
eg,

2005: Workplace Relations Amendment (WorkChoices)
•   Direction of Centralisation: Decentralising
•   Key Changes:
o   Establishment of the Australian Fair Pay Commission to set and adjust minimum wages and conditions of employment without the involvement of unions or employer groups, which form the Fair Pay and
Conditions Standard – a standard which replaces the safety net functions of awards
o   Safety net consists of 5 conditions
o   Encouragement of individual enterprise bargaining due to the simplified awards system, whereby award
coverage did not apply under certified agreements and AWAs
o   Abolition of the no-disadvantage test
o   Limiting of unfair dismissal laws to business with only more than 100 employees, as well as further
restrictions in which they are applicable
thanks.

Just be aware of them but I very highly doubt they will ever ask you a question on the history of it.

Nah its not on the study design. Just know we went from centralised to decentralised to a more centralised version.
