trig questions arent that bad. you just got to think through them logically even though it may take you 10 minutes :P
if i have trouble i usually just read through the quetion identify what they want and just got through all the different ways to getting the answer..
just chuck a lot of the more trickier trig and geo questions into your summ book

fml i neglected networks at school to do matrices because it was easy. VCAA better not make it hard.
ooohhhhh!
BAITED!
hahaa
yeh rumour has it its going to be a lot harder than past years..
my teacher keeps telling my mate he shouldnt do it as it'll be hard as
compared to previous years
was contemplating it, but after topping my class in networks sac (98%)
decided ill stick with it, as its a lot simpler and straight forward.
good luck dudes!

I don't think it can be that hard, especially if you do methods.

Yeah, I agree.
AND even in Methods they are not too hard either.

So I dont know.

Because I think in 2006 or 2007 the Graphs section had an above 50% for each question. The following year, I checked
and it wasn't crazy hard or anything?

So yeah...

matrices is piss easy.  the prac companies make it too hard and stupid.

just make sure you can work backwards with transitional matrices.  that is as hard as it may get.

can you maybe give us an example where you have to work backwards?

Lost 3 marks in Neap 2007 exam 2.

ON TRIG...I hate that module lol, only module that screws me over.

Anyway the matrices in Neap 07 was actually the most enjoyable! I loved the eggs question haha.

Okay, so the formula for transition matrices is Sn+1 = T x Sn

Therefore, Sn = T-1 x Sn+1

Make sure you are familiar with this method.  In some questions, it will yield dumb and impossible answers, such as negatives, but there are other questions where it can work, so be familiar with the method and how to apply it.

o.O ive seen the first formula before, but not the second.
could you explain in what kind of situations it would be used.
thanks dude

Multiple choice question 9 I easily did by using trial and error.

Can that formula be applied to the last question in 2008 exam 1? Or does it need to be solved algebraically like they did?
