Anyone who has done Year of Wonders or Life of Pi

Hey, I'm buying my books for next year, and although it doesn't really matter, can someone indicate which version of these two books we/your school used?
I know it's basically only the covers, I just want the same as everyone else, without having to pay the retail price of the book shops...

Life of Pi we did the second one.
Great book - not many schools do it either
