linear:
q1c: i keep getting 76km/h
s=d/t=190/2.5=76km/h
explain to me why its 95km/h

q2d: dont get this at all

why is S2 = Ts1
why isnt it T^2xS1

Q1c - It is 95 km/h because the car is only moving from 10am to 12pm, therefore the time is 2 hours, not 2.5 hours.
Q2d - It states that they are travelling at 85 km/h. Therefore read off the graph, or solve for fuel usage using G = 15-0.06 * 85. After finding G = 9.9, then you know that every 100 km, 9.9 L are used. 9.9 * 0.80 = $7.92

2008 VCAA, I think you're talking about the Matrices section yes? You cannot assume that S0 is the initial state matrix, as S1 is given as the initial. Therefore treat S2 as you would normally S1.
