On the VCAA 2009 exam it said
In Classical Conditioning, the CR occurs as soon as the CS is shown but in one trail Learning, the CR can occur for up to a day after the CS

I thought:
Maybe it is just me...but I thought it was the UCR and UCS, so it should go like this:
In Classical Conditioning, the UCR occurs as soon as the UCS is shown but in one trail Learning, the UCR can occur for up to a day after the UCS

Correct me if I am wrong!!

thats what i thought too!!

in one trial learning if presented the CS, the CR would occur immediately..

that was in the VCAA 09?
i'd expect that of a company exam but that doesn't make sense...
after one trial learning the CR typically will then occur straight after the CS... it's just the UCR that occurs way after the UCS

Well... If you've ever acquired a taste aversion you would understand that it doesn't always occur straight after.
Not sure why but it can take days to appear, maybe a slow association between the two? Also you know it has been acquired it when the CS causes the CR.
