Okay, I was looking through my answers to VCAA MM Cas 2009, and for Extended Response Q1 the question is:

State the interval for which the graph of f is strictly decreasing.

My answer was (9, infinity), the itute answers say [9,infitinity).

Is itute right? I thought that the gradient doesn't exist at a turning point, this it isn't decreasing at the turning point..?

If it says stricly increasing/decreasing you have to include the turning point.
