Meh, seems cocky to me.

When you are consoling someone about their 80's ATAR, and how their school's results suck, would you jump in and say "Don't worry I got the only 95+ in my school ;D :D"..

Didn't think so =P (don't take this as patronising, please)

I believe in being oneself without reservation.

Hmm, well, you need an average of A for 50 so assuming you got A+ for midyear and SACs you could afford to get maybe a high B+/ low A on this exam.

I believe that believing that can only bring about bad things.

Sure, be yourself - but evaluate the appropriateness of your actions. You can be truthful and "yourself" without disclosing information that will potentially demoralise / hurt people around you.
This is, of course, speaking of a real situation, where people didn't already know your score.. When I did it here it was more for lolz than anything else, given people's reactions last time..

People who get demoralised and hurt when they realise there are others in the world who are better than them at certain things need a reality check... it's people like these that are the causation of introverted recluses; those with distinct and unique abilities worthy of praise, afraid to show their true colours because they are afraid of how others may view them in comparison and thus develop a sense of envy and/or resentment.

I need a reality check.

Would a 2nd/30 Sacs(rankwise) ,High A+ Mid-year, and  C+ Year End get me a 35? Really can't be bothered studying for a 5th/6th subject now-.- Just don't wanna end up with like below 30.

Bit of waste but w/e =/

I meant 2/30 rankwise.

Actually I might study abit for the sake of other's.. Don't want to penalize them just because I did badly. hmm

hey people help me figure this out, for business last year i got B+ A B+(exam) for a 35 :S is that even possible? i mean im looking to get a 35 in chem but got a B+ for the midyear, so i always took it as i required at least a low A to get 35. wouldnt two B+'s get me 34 max, even if they're high ones?

For 35 you need high B+'s/low A's, so assuming that the B+'s were high and the A was mid-high, then that is perfectly valid.

And 2 high B+'s would probably yield ~34, unless you're SACs are great.. For 35 you'd probably want a low A.

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerfull beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that frightens us. There is nothing englightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you.
