hey guys short time reader first time poster! thought the exam was pretty good today, some of the mutiple choices were a bit iffy. Was it me or was alot of the short answer a bit ambiguous, like it was open to interpritation pretty much write a wide range of stuff as long as you explain it? did anyone else think that.

For the question how you had to draw up what some page looked like on some chefs website.

What did you guys draw.

I drew the heading the links where they are and a login and pass bar for the user to type in since it should be secured.

Yeah that's what I did, it was suppose to not have annotations right?

VPN’s allow users to communicate and share resources as if in a Local Area Nework,
however due to the fact they use the Internet is a medium of communication they are
more open to security threats.

My scores are.
Low B+, B+, hopeful for a Mid-High A+

I've seen this statement before, but I'd be pissed if this is a correct response. A VPN is not a necessity to 'virtual team' shit. So by your statement any WAN traffic is insecure. My disadvantage was that a VPN required either specialist software or hardware, which will infer cost.

It's specific to VPN's, and also true. Even though there are plenty of free solutions... they ignore OpenOffice etc so they probably don't like FOSS anyway.

I think I said something along the lines of VPN needing internet to run, therefore that itself can be a disadvantage as there is a requirement for an internet connection (therefore no internet connection = no vpn access)

Way wrong? :(

Ha! I did the exact same thing. I also included a picture of a chef, just because I can.

Due to finishing 50 minutes early, my exams is full of pictures of burning IT books. I do hope they enjoy that...
