Insight 2008 Question help

Hi,

Could somebody help me with what I am doing wrong in Question 5c.

I have included my answer and the suggested solution too, although there is an error in the solution as (0.689/2) x 5748 doesn't = 3964 so it wasn't really helpful for me

the solutions are wrong the correct answer is 200.4g i think

Their Energy required for part a) is wrong I think.

yeh the energy that they give in the solutions for part a is wrong.. they wrote (4.0 x 10^6 )/1000
and that should give u 4000 not 10000.. so redo ur working replacing 1.0 x 10^4 with 4000

No I think their part a is fine. 10000kJ is right I think.
They just made a calculation error in part c)

They failed. (0.689/2) *5748 does not give 3964...

Got me so confused as to why the 2 methods gave different answer's.

Wonder why they even divided by two and multiplied the enthalpy by two. Other than to stuff up ofc
