I got screwed over by the ethics of appropriation question. Talked about moral right even though I knew it was wrong

With only 1 question on an artist you studied and reference it to cultural/historical theme, that is as easy as it gets. Plus choosing 3 artworks to interpret with the reference material, so kind VCAA this year

for the ethics of appropriation... i'm pretty sure you could talk about moral rights and therefore you're not wrong in talking about it
and the other one could have been copyright law or licensing agreements

yeah my techer said talking about moral rights in the ethics part was fine!

I think it was more about how you applied it to the question. I talked about it from a legal aspect (i.e. moral rights cover the artists reputation and value of the artwork etc.) and how that then applied to my example. But if you then said how the appropriating artist applied moral rights ethically that would be right, but I didn't so...
