I failed the end of year exam.....

Ye as the heading states. I failed the end of year exam. I got ranked last ;( My teacher is a douche. I think Ill continue to do Physics but is there anyone who can gimme links to worth books or sites kickstart my preparation for year 12 exam.

Im also aiming to get >38 . It looks unlikely with the failure of my exam but what can I do to achieve.

umm put it this way. I did like 5 guessed questions out of 20 legitemate, I emailed my teacher and he confirmed it lol. Atleast I got number 1 in methods.

Im in year12 next year.

Work hard over the break, there is still time to improve. Ask on VN if you're unsure of anything. The Physics Board has links and resources on it - use it. As with any subject, hard work and persistence will pay off.

Get a tutor if need be - ideally someone like appianway - she got 50 for Physics in Year 11.

All the more reason to keep your hopes up. Worst case scenario, Physics will be in your bottom two, so the difference between a 50 and a 30 is 2 study score points. . .(i.e. nothing)

Two study score points can mean a lot xD. It could potentially lower your ATAR slightly and it may make you right below the cutoffs for your desired course. Haha, but the likelihood of that happening is minimal and you would have to be playing a little dangerous if you are expecting the minimum ATAR score for your course anyway.

Also, at our school, they go over the Unit 1/2 content anyway. So you should be just fine.
