The difference between MUEP and UMEP? (mathematics)
(1/1)
t3nsai:
What do you learn in UMEP :S?
mystikal:
MUEP = sooooo much easier than UMEP thats all i can say
funkyducky:
Yeah. My cousin did MUEP Maths, then went on to study engineering/commerce at Melbourne. He had to retake 1st year advanced calculus (or whatever the course is called that's equivalent to UMEP maths) because they said the MUEP course was easier than their one, and what he learnt didn't cover the uni-level subject.
My personal preference is UMEP, but some people choose MUEP simply because it is so easy. I say, no point in taking a uni enhancement subject if it isn't challenging.
rustic_metal:
This is my course plan from when I did UMEP.
Note that things that sound familiar on it (ie 'chain rule,' 'inverse of a matrix,' 'polar form,' etc either aren't what you'd probably be thinking of from high school or are a more difficult method involving completely different algorithms :P)
