I began my year wanting to do early childhood teaching 100% but had always considered nursing aswell, especially pediatric nursing so later decided on that..
Now I am thinking I might want to do primary school teaching at deakin but I have not done vce maths at all only foundation which doesnt count at all..
My question is if there is any way that I can transfer into the course Bed (primary) from another course like nursing if I decide to do it or bachelor of arts or something like that, or will it still matter that I haven't done that maths.
I am not totally incompetent with maths, I am just an english person and because at the time I didn't think i was going to need it just decided to not bother annoying myself with doing it. I know its a stupid philosophy but nothing I can do about it now so if you could please answer it would be very much appreciated :)
I also know it seems like im changing my mind alot but this is only because there are so many minute cons for all that I am having a hard time trying to decide 100% !!

THANkS

You'd boost your chances by taking some maths in whichever course you start off with, I'd say.

Your best bet is probably to talk to Deakin about it. Tell them which course of theirs you want to do and what you've done so far, then ask "what's the best way for me to get into this course?"
