Is anyone else annoyed that there is a new edition of the 4th edition of Heinemann chem out and it is nearly exactly the same as old 4th edition! Called 'the enhanced version', the only differences we could find were colour changes of some headings in  chapter reviews and some new irrelevant pics. + our school 'highly recommends' (means 'get it or else...') its purchase, wtf? Is this taking profits too far?

don't buy it.  study design hasn't changed, so it is a complete cash grab.

tell your school to ggf...

WTF? I've been stressing for like 2 weeks because I payed $40 for the old one. My teacher subsequently told me I HAD to buy the new one. On top of that, I went to Academic and General and they said it wasn't out yet. How'd you get it pi?

dw about it.  just get the pdf version of the new one, which will be the same as the new one except for the flashy new colours and pics.

but how?  if the study design hasn't changed, then the 'old' text will have everything you need to know haha...

WTF pi.
Our school does not highly recommend it at all.
In fact the booklist explicitly states that the previous edition is acceptable.
Just had Chemistry transition aswell and Sabo said the new edition affects you in no way.

I was told that the study design can be amended. Was shitting bricks that I would lose marks on a new topic not in my book.

lol, trust Sarbo if you want (record 15 kids who failed the unit 2 chem exam)... Good luck with trying to get over 25 SS in chem then!

But Delaney definitely knows his stuff and highly recommends it
