For fucks sake, you two just argue all day fucking long. Start up a new forum called www.rohitpiVERSUSiNerdultimatebattleextravaganza.com and keep talking there. I'm sick of reading threads relevant to something I'm concerned about, only for the thread to be totally derailed due to your petty bickering.
The link is broken :( ...lol relax bro, its a friendly clash of academic minds ::)

iNerd:

This is not a clash of academic minds. If Einstein argued with Newton about which colour socks were superior, not only would this be a trivial argument belittling them both. It would be an argument that wastes intelligence.
I was being sarcastic hence the emoticon I inserted. Anyways yeah...I understand :P

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Is anyone else annoyed that there is a new edition of the 4th edition of Heinemann chem out and it is nearly exactly the same as old 4th edition! Called 'the enhanced version', the only differences we could find were colour changes of some headings in  chapter reviews and some new irrelevant pics. + our school 'highly recommends' (means 'get it or else...') its purchase, wtf? Is this taking profits too far?

YES WHAT THE HELL?

I have to buy the 1/2 book.. its "enhanced" but I'm not sure to buy it or not..
Is it worth buying the 1/2 non-enhanced edition 2nd hand for 25 bucks?

Thanks.

Just a little bump

Um y bump? I answered your question...first post 3rd page.
Yes it would be fine. Just ensure you get the Enhanced CD off a friend and copy it. It has extra resources.

Thanks everyone (most people anyway  ;) ). Conclusion: waste of money and profit driven, buy old one (cheaper) and copy contents from new CD (for free through borrowing).

Thanks again (especially to iNerd for his most insightful, brilliant and life-changing advice  ;)).

^^

I have been told by my chem faculty that the new textbook is a mistake by heinemann and not buy it. They thought there was a new study design or something so decided to release a new textbook etc...

Basically, I wouldn't buy the new textbook just yet, in my teacher's words, "If you have purchased the new textbook, return it, it's a complete waste of money, get the old one off one of the year 12's."

A mistake, lol!

I'm not buying it... Especially after that news.

was laughing fro a solid minute after that!  ;D ;D
