Release of results query

my.monash says they will be released Friday 12pm AEDT. Are they usually available the night before on WES/do we get the text message the night before?

yes usually prob around 10pm 2nd december i reckon
but otherwise 3rd dec

I think I got my semester 1 results around 9:30pm. It's going to make a fun night just waiting for those results to come through

Yeah last sem I got mine the night before, on WES though not through SMS.

Good to know, I haven't had any results since first semester 2009 so I kind of forgot when I got them and this is the first time I've ever signed up for the sms service thing (it seems so weird getting formal results sent through text message?) I'm working all day on Friday so I was hoping I'd get them the night before :) Not that I expect to do well (at least it's only my first year and I still have time to improve -___-)

When I signed up for the SMS service in Semester 2 last year, my results arrived to my phone about 16 hours after they were posted on WES. Pretty unreliable if you want the results ASAP.

I already know the result for 3/4 of my units this semester, so I'm not having as much of a heart attack this time around. Looking forward to yielding another clean D/HD sweep from the early looks of things!

The SMS service is useful if you're out the night results come out. Semester 1, I was out in the city with mates until 3am, so getting a text at 9:30 saved me 5.5 hours of anxiety
