VCD newbie
(1/1)
HEADCAT:
I've taken the dive and dropped further for VCD. :coolsmiley:
If i could have some pointers from any VCD veterans concerning this subject, it would really be appreciated ;)
However, most importantly, are there any really essential skills that i would need to have covered, from your experiences, having not done Unit 1+2 VCD?
Thanks!

Tips:
- Get up to scratch on all of the drawing methods, this means isometric etc.
- Make sure you know the design elements and principles back to front.
- Make sure you also know the media and materials (refer to VCAA Study design)
- Make sure you know professional practioners.
- For the folio choose something you have a love for to make you feel motivated to do the work.
- There might be a bit of work but if you put in you will be happy with what you have produced and also gain more knowledge for the exam.
- You will definately have an easier exam next year but just make sure you do a few practices to get used to managing your time in designing and analysing things quickly.
FatnessFirst:
I reckon Unit 1/2 covered a lot of things that I would usually need for 3/4...That's in my school though. Orthgonal drawings, Elements, Paraline drawings etc.. and gave me some knowledge about the folios.
I guess you'll have to work a bit harder to excel.
