Wow, fair enough.

We have individual awards + all-round achievement.

If you get 14 A/A+ combinations on your report, you get the all round achievement.

But we only have like 3/4 outcomes for each subjects. So you need like 70% A/A+'s.

Luckily I have 10 A+'s 5 A's

We have semester awards btw! not whole year!

What's the A+ mark for you guys? For us, it's 95%!

You can do in year 10 or 11. I did in year 11 @ Royal Children's Hospital.
Thank God...also what happens if you take 5 VCE subjs but say a VET?...still applicable for academic award?

It has never happened that a VET student has ever got close to an academic award (according to two of my teachers this year)

That's cause VET is associated with 'dumbness'. Sigh...I'll just ask a teacher next year then.
NB: I plan to be the first MHS VET-er to receive an award ;)

Academic awards are much harder in VCE as most people dropped the subjects they hated and did bad in... My report was pretty good, but I was still way off from our yr11 Dux (all A+s in both semesters)!

Okay, so I have got my end of year report back for yr 11 and I look at physics 1+2:
Exam: A+
Class work and tests: A+
EPI: D

I was pretty unhappy, but seeing as though we only had a physics teacher for the first three weeks in the semester and subs for the rest (we learnt the course ourselves), I was understanding. This was also my first EPI.

Can all the VN physics gurus out there please give me some tips on what an EPI is and how to do one correctly? I am especially worried about the layout of the EPI, length and what teachers are looking for.

If someone could upload their old EPI which scored highly, that would also be great, as the highest mark in my class was C and that report was 43 pages long! So if an upload is possible that would be really aweseom (any topic, I just want to know how to set out a good EPI).

Thanks.

Just reaffirming the question and help needed

Pfscht, I don't need Dux. I need top 16. Oh well...got to find out how VET works in the case of receiving academic award.

Just to re-affirm (again)

I hope this is all resolved now pi.

It's your teacher, not your work.
