I'm not sure if these type of threads are allowed.

But I just want to see if anyone is doing it :)

Still not sure which one I want to major in though :X

Also what's the deal with the engineering scholarship? I know that the ATAR requirement is a minimum 98, but what would the cut-off be in reality (approximately)?
vce: english, methods, spesh, chemistry, physics, geography.

It was like 99.4 last year apparently... Maybe higher.

Your talking about Monash Engineering Excellence right?

Yes, but the Monash Engineering Scholarship (there's a difference :O), requires a minimum atar of 95.00.

They both offer the exact same monetary aid, which is what has me slightly stumped :X

The Engineering Excellence Award gives you a scholarship and entrance into their leadership program. However apparently anyone who has a scholarship automatically gets into this program.

So yeah, however if you get above 99 you should get some form of scholarship :)

Do you need to maintain a certain grade to keep the scholarship jimmy?

Most scholarships require you to keep either a minimum of 60, 70 or 75 percent.

dw if u fall under the average score to maintain.. they just give u a warning and be like if u dont improve the next time they might take the scholarship off u.. so u will be put on probation.

Yeah the way it works is if you get under the average, you get put on probation for a semester and still get the money. If in that probation semester you still get under the average, your scholarship is then put on suspension meaning you won't get money. In that suspension semester, if you still get under the average, then you lose your scholarship completely. It's basically a 3 warning system. Probation, suspension, and lose

First step is getting one! if you're good enough to get one, it'd be pretty hard to lose it?

Well I think I'll already get a minor scholarship for "elite sport" or something rather (only 2 applicants in that "sport", and I'm his senior), does that mean I will not be able to take up any other scholarships?

99.95, what are you thinking of taking?
