Try and learn some topics with the methods course (ie. Differentiation, Anti-Differentiation, Applications of Anti-Differentiation, etc.). Makes learning them a lot easier.

This is advisable. At the start of the year I was tutoring a girl in Specialist who was quite capable of doing maths, however the first time she encountered Calculus was in 3/4 Specialist. She struggled at first but eventually got the hang of it.

It's worth working ahead and doing Methods Trigonometry and Calculus first so you'll understand it better when you do it in Spesh

I've already completed methods 3/4 if that helps. I am finding the various integration techniques quite interesting but I have yet to look into them in detail.
