sorry about the random question but i just got that sinking feeling...

I got the score i need to get into commerce law at deakin but upon reading the prerequisites again i am having doubts...

I got 34 for english but the prerequisites says "Units 3 and 4–a study score of at least 35 in English (ESL) or 30 in any other English."

This means normal english yeah? If so i am doomed

Yes if you got 30 for English mainstream then that would meet the requirement

Hi there,

I have just received my ATAR : 88.6
(Raw Study Scores, English 43, Literature 40, Aust History 37, Legal Studies 36, Further Maths 32)

My current 1st preference is Arts at Uni.of.Melb, which last year had a Clearly-In ATAR of 89

My question is this : Should I stick to my 1st preference, and how do you rate my chances of getting an offer.

Thanks in advance, folks

You may as well leave it as your number one preference as its still the course you want to do the most ?

It would not make sense to lower it in your preferences just because you MAY not get accepted.

Leave it as number one and hope you get 2nd round offers.

Good luck
