Not quite. Editions tend to vary between authors even in the latin because editors add punctuation and other random things. It won't matter too much, but for your sake, using the Macclenan(?) edition will be beneficial because that's the edition used on the exam paper. I don't know about your school, Aurelian ;) , but at ours they made a very big deal about getting the correct edition.

This one, Pixon? http://www.angusrobertson.com.au/book/virgil-aeneid-i/5893569/
Our school only advised us to buy the English version.. I may go out and buy the Latin one too.
EDIT: Just called the A&R bookstore, and this particular edition is currently reprinting, so it could take a few weeks if not months.

Yep that's the one. Yeh, there are a lot of issues with getting that book which is why our school made such a fuss. They have to ship it over from England and because it's not commonly sought after, they don't reprint it very often. I don't really understand why your school wouldn't ask you to buy the book...unless they plan to photocopy it for every latin student :/ Might be worthwhile asking.

Hmm.. I found this translation of it: http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~loxias/aeneid1.htm
Which Aeneid book did the 2010 students use? I may be able to use striker_pete's copy as I'm going to get Latin tutoring from him.. I think he went to your school so hopefully it's the same version.
