They're basically just online tests that teach you stuff. You log into the website and there will be a series of slides, each one explaining a concept (eg sugar X can rotate to form conformations A, B, C or D) and then a question asking you to apply the knowledge.

so you did fundamentals this yea right? and used vce chem as a supplement?

I did Fundamentals of Chem this year, yes. Fundamentals of Chem covers a fair bit of the basics from VCE, and some parts in more details. I personally never looked at what was done in VCE, I only knew because my friends were telling me.
