I only have one friend who is doing this course and I believe he's doing it as a pathway into civil engineering. It's not that popular of a course because most things in it you can do in Science anyway
Religion and Society (38), IT - Software Development (45) English (35), Chemistry (49), Methods CAS (48), Specialist Maths (50)
ENTER: 99.15

2010 - Bachelor of Science(Maths)/Engineering(Chemical) - Monash Clayton

As a Melbourne student, the BEnv is far better for civil engineering than the BSci. The civil eng subjects are available in science, but many of the construction, landscapes, urban design and architecture subjects aren't available as science core.
