Any good sites for spectrometry?

Finding it a bit hard to understand the more complicated spectrometric techniques like uv-vis, infrared and nmr. Anyone know any good sites where there are animations/vids or just really good explanations? thanks.

There used to be a website called Simply NMR or something like that, but I can't find it ANYWHERE.

Try this http://chemnmr.colorado.edu/moreinfo/ibuprofen.html

It's not too bad, and I think it sums up most of what is required in VCE nicely. But I might be saying that having already learnt it.

For chromatography and the spectrometries, are we required to know the method step by step? eg. In Atomic absorption spectroscopy light is emitted from a lamp through a flame which has the sample solution sprayed through it... I understand that interpreting graphs is the main idea, but are the steps vital?

Yes know the basic set up/steps for them, especially in chromatography and spectro like AAS and AES.
