Studio Arts Roll Call...?

(1/2) > >>

Cinnah:
So, it seems there isn't anyone around doing studio... yet.

I really want to get into top arts, I've seen it every year for the past few years (in complete awe)
I think Studio is really underrated, on a whole.
I have a lot of ideas for my folio too,
Post concepts, kthnx?

Predator:
I regret that I did not do 3/4 studio last year considering I did enjoy 1/2.
I agree that it is underrated since it is often a branch and a break away from the other subjects and allows you to relax and think differently from the other subjects. The only bad thing is the tedious annotating but is a subject that can show how creative one can be even if they aren't good at a subject like English and Maths.

Some of the top arts stuff has been amazing, did you ever see that Orange painting? I thought it was actually real when I saw it.

Cinnah:
Yes I did, I was doing work experience at the gallery the year that was up, it was amazing.
Apparently the girl who did that got several cash offers for it after/while it was in the gallery

My favourite was the nurses in clockwork - I think it was untitiled.
It was very dark and very amazing too.

Predator:
I found an image of it on the internet, I actually wonder if she did sell it, I personally wouldn't have but that's just me.

I actually didn't see that one, I must see if I can find it on the internet.
What is your theme, direction and choice of media this year?

Cinnah:
I'm looking at Mythology, doing lots and lots of background work into that.
I like ink, watercolour and traditional sketching as mediums.

I want to end with putting something into comic form, or showing how our idealised characters reflect society and civilisation, or how characters connect with me personally.
A lot of it is still up in the air, but I have so much on my to do list.
