To all the people who have finished a whole unit of work (or more), how are you going to be studying throughout the year? Will you just be doing practise exams every week or..?

Work from a different book, although I can only talk for methods (I'm not a 'beast' like out future dual duxes ;) )

for englang, i'm going to try and collect and digest as many examples as i can and get a good principle base that i can work off in the exam. chem, physics and spesh just papers and german i'm going to just listen to podcasts, write essays, read the paper, etc.

pi, take it easy! If you've done every qn from the whole textbook, you've worked yourself hard enough! Do practice exams slowly - as in like one a week, or one every 2 weeks, because all you need to do is refresh.

Also, how do you guys go about finishing a whole unit, or two for that matter? I assume you're only doing every second question at most.

I know this sounds kinda sad, but I think I might make my own podcasts for some of my subs - Latin, Legal, BM and maybe Revs if I can be bothered. ;D

Aaah, BM podcasts would be good bedtime stories, cos they'd make you fall asleep!

I've done Unit 3 Chem out of the Heinemann book, while we used StudyOn at school
I've done 1/3 of spesh + all of methods out of maths quest, while we use essentials at school

I'll do a few more questions or maybe use some notes I've made to use while I'm doing the practice exams, but probably just checkpoints during class!

For me, notes + q's for Chem, and just q's for methods/spesh

Am I like the worst procrastinator in the history of VN? First, I start holiday homework in the last 2 weeks, then I 'wag' the first 2 weeks of the essay initiative essays. ;D :P

Even if taiga was exaggerating slightly, that's still a godly effort.
I start school tomorrow and I haven't touched my Chem holiday assignment and totally gave up on week 3 of the essay writing initiative (I'll actually bother next week, I promise!).

On the plus side, I learnt the entire first 3 topics of Spesh which will be on my first SAC...

...in 2 hours yesterday :D
I won the GAT: 49/50/50.
