I wrote on Hamlet and Stasiland in the exam. I know that Hamlet is in the 2011 study design but is Stasiland? If so I'm repeating!

Depends if you really want to, and whether you think you're going to be working your butt off or not. In most cases, subjects aren't worth repeating.. but I got a 34 for English last year and so I'm repeating it this year, as I only finished one essay in the exam, and if I refine my time management skills and work on improving my writing further, I will hopefully be able to get a higher score. It's a different case for everyone I guess. I think a text change, in your case, shouldn't be something to warrant you to repeat a whole subject..

Are you doing English as well? If you are, then I suggest don't repeat Lit and just concentrate on your English. If you're not doing English.. I'd have a big re-think. It also depends on what kind of ATAR you need/desire.

Do you honestly think you can get 97?

If so, do English or English language I reckon for a different subject experience.

Juggling 6 subjects would be really tough.. since you're doing English, work hard in it and make sure you get higher than 36 for that, and it's guaranteed to be in your top 4. Having a 36 in your bottom two will make hardly any difference to your ATAR, unless you're trying to get somewhere near a 99.95.

Keep in mind that many people consider English to be easier to score well in, especially if you're not a naturally excellent english student.
The dreams that you dare to dream really do come true.

You will need about 39 in chem / methods and 43 in further, with about 42 in english to get that 97.

So unless you think youll get less than 42 in english (which imo is easier than getting 41 in lit), there is no need to repeat lit

42 in English scales to 40. 41 in Lit scales to 42.

So it's only fair to say, is it easier to score 39 in lit, or 42 in English.

OH GTFO, why doesn't lit scale up considerably more then???

Obviously the competition is a lot harder in literature?

Obviously not then. Lit only goes up like 1 most of the time. When you get in the 40s for english it doesn't scale down much (it even goes up a tiny bit if you get high 40s!).
