Ughhghhghhhhgh.
I had two calls and the first one was all 'don't accept your offer until you're 150% sure because you cannot be enrolled in two courses at once'.
Helpful!
And then the second one was all 'rawrrrr IF YOU GET AN OFFER TO SCIENCE YOU HAVE TO ACCEPT IT BECAUSE YOU'RE STEALING PLACES FROM OTHER WORTHY STUDENTS'.
Confuses me more.

Did you ask how another student is more worthy if you got an offer and they didn't?

Lol that's a good point.  I'm kind of stuck now, I guess I will feel better if I apply for an irregular offer so I may as well do it.
She didn't make it amazingly clear to me, whether my original offer from Bmed still stands and whether my chances of being offered a place in science diminish if I have already enrolled in the institution.

I'm going to sound really dumb here but I hope this can be cleared up.

What's the thing with levels for every subject? Level 1, 2 and 3. What's the difference? Then I realise the subjects has to be according to the course structure (credit points, etc). I'm still trying to get my way through, though I already have a rough idea of what I like to do.

It's insane!

It's not that insane :(

Basically, you need to do 300 points of study over 3 years. 100 points a year, every subject is 12.5 points (yes some aren't but deal with that if it matters).

Level 1 = first year, level 2 = second year, level 3 = third year

You do not need to do 8 level 1, 8 level 2 and 8 level 3 subjects. You cannot do more than 10 level 1 subjects. You do not need to do only level 1 subjects in first year and so forth.

I don't know what your goal is for your degree, but in first year you'll probably be taking your basic subjects - maths, physics, biology, chemistry etc. depending on what you hope to major in. They will mostly be level 1. You can fill in any gaps with any subjects you're allowed to take. In second year, you'll do mostly level 2 subjects, the direct prerequisites for the subjects in your major. In third year, you'll do a major (level 3 subjects) plus anything else you feel like (ie the 2-4 spaces left over, because a major is 4 subjects)

That really helped me. Thankyou! :D

You can enroll.  But unless you are sure what to choose than probably best to wait til Monday.

It is no biggie though.  You can drop subjects and add new ones if you choose the wrong thing or change your mind.  :)

Also, does anyone know if it is possible to get timetables yet, or is that Jan 31?

Australian citizens and permanent humanitarian visa holders will receive a discount of 20% for up-front payments greater than $500. Permanent residents and New Zealand citizens studying in Commonwealth Supported Places are required to pay the full student contribution up-front without discount.

So you only get 20% off if you pay >500 each year?

Yeah, and I think it is for the amount you pay.
So if you pay $1000, then I would assume that takes off $1250 from your debt.
