Caufield/Clayton Campus

Hey Monash Uni students!

I was told by a friend (who recently completed Arts at Monash) that as of next year Arts and Law are moving to Caufield. Which would be sad, since I want to do Arts/Law and Clayton is so much nearer.

Is this true?

And also, do any of you feel that you prefer one campus over another?

I heard about this too - but I doubt it's happening. Clayton would probably be the one that is more preferred by students, as it's considered the 'main' Monash one.

Heard about this ages ago, dunno whats happening with it. yeah, caulfield is pretty much dead and boring....dont go there

The vision for the new law school is a multi level complex offering state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities with a major new library at its heart

Makes me think that they're planning to build a new building at Caulfield so the move will happen in a few years.

Prit sure it's not happening for a long time.

Monash is pretty bad at delivering things according to plan. If they announce something, assume it will be delayed or that they will run out of money.

Ya it's definitely not happening this year, that's for sure. I heard something about either the uni or the construction company running out of money, lol

Caulfield is 10 minutes by train from Clayton, but seems lightyears closer to civilisation compared to monash
