How to Defer?

So i made my account.
Do I enrol then defer or do I go straight to defer?

There's an option in the student portal from memory but if there's an option to defer straight away then I'd assume you take that.

yeah there is but it doesnt say anything about accepting. would deferring through that mean I have accepted though? I dont want to be deferring nothing...

I figured it out. You dont have to enrol unless they turn down your application for deferral. They have a second AAD on feb 17 which 2nd round 'offerees' and denied deferral kids go to.

Deferring

I have an offer, can I defer?

Deferral is only available if you have not yet commenced your course. It usually applies to new students who have accepted their offer, but who have not yet completed their enrolment.

If you are already enrolled, you should read the information about Leave of Absence (LOA).
