Confusion playing around with the timetabling

Okay I have no idea what's going on when I put in my 4 units for sem 1

https://mutts.monash.edu.au/MUTTS/timetable/output/gridHtml.aspx?buildtype=module&splus_year=2011&module_cd=AFC1000_CL_S1_DAY&module_cd=ECC1000_CL_S1_DAY&module_cd=ETC1000_CL_S1_DAY&module_cd=MGC1010_CL_S1_DAY&startperiod=-1&endperiod=-1&

How do I read this? I mean I'm reading it going wtf is Tutorial/45, Tutorial/37 are these numbers supposed to mean anything? :/
Also is there some place that shows me what lectures/tutes are required per week for each unit (I don't have an authcate account so can't really access much)

Sorry for asking so many questions it's really frustrating me that I can't do anything prior to the enrolment session

EDIT: I get it now :)

It should say on the unit entry in the handbook how many lectures / tutes are required

Some lectures, if they're longer than 2 hours, will be split into two or even 3 parts.
For example,
Lecture/01-P2 means lecture group 1, part 2.
Lecture/02-P1 means lecture group 2, part 1.
You have to go to both halves of the same lecture group - so say you choose lecture group 1, you have to make sure you can attend both Lecture/01-P1 and Lecture/01-P2.

If you see for example Lecture/01 (i.e. without the P1 P2 etc.) it means that's the entire lecture - you won't need to go to 2 parts - those are usually the 1 hour or 1.5 hour lectures (you lucky bastard).

Usually you only have to attend one tutorial, they just give you a lot of options for when you want to do it. Tutorial/xx just indicates the number of the tutorial group. You should only have to pick one.

3-hour small group session or computer based or self-directed learning per week...what does that mean? Can i just pick the small group sessions for the whole semester? Do they alternate each week or....?

What do you think of my timetable? Is there anything wrong with having a tutorial b4 a lecture?

I can't even do anything for mine for some reason. Is this on allocate+ my preferences?

Usually if the tutorial is before the lecture, you will work on/discuss material from the lecture the previous week. At least that's how it went for me in arts...
[ VCE 2008 ] Legal Studies 45 - English 39 - Biology 37 - History Revolutions 37 - Literature 24
ENTER: 92.80

[ 2009 - 2010 ] Arts (Global) at Monash University, Clayton.
[ 2011 ] went insane

Often, tutorials start in week 2, so it shouldn't be a problem!

So I've essentially devised a timetable so that my friend and I are in some classes together, and so that I'm only at Uni for 3 days. I've done my Allocate+ preferences and intentionally made my 2nd-5th preferences clash with all my other 1st preferences, what are the odds that I won't get my first pref timetable?

(yeah every 2nd-5th pref clashes with my 1st pref or it clashes with my 2nd pref (which will have clashed with my 1st pref :/))

(this is what it looks like)

I'm reading this from overseas and I'm kinda confused. Can we chose our own timetable? Sorry, but I'm way behind on everything. Bit of info about this timetabling thing would be much appreciated. :D

You can put your (1st-10th) preferences for the timeslots, but they are not guaranteed

Also, how many tutorials should you have for each subject? I only have one or two lectures and heaps of tutorial sessions.

EDIT: I forgot to ask: How long do we have to do this (when's the deadline)?

I tried logging in to allocate+ but it just says 'Your login details are fine, but you are not known by the system.'  How do I alter my timetable?
