This is slowly starting to make sense. The MUTTS thing sets up an example of what your timetable may look like, and using the Allocate+ system, you can select and place preferences to what your timetable will actually look like using Units that you have already enrolled in via WES. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I tried logging in to allocate+ but it just says 'Your login details are fine, but you are not known by the system.'  How do I alter my timetable?
Have you enrolled in your subjects yet? (through WES)

So I've essentially devised a timetable so that my friend and I are in some classes together, and so that I'm only at Uni for 3 days. I've done my Allocate+ preferences and intentionally made my 2nd-5th preferences clash with all my other 1st preferences, what are the odds that I won't get my first pref timetable?

(yeah every 2nd-5th pref clashes with my 1st pref or it clashes with my 2nd pref (which will have clashed with my 1st pref :/))

(this is what it looks like)
(Image removed from quote.)
Can anyone clarify this? I'm afraid I may have coincidentally created a timetable that would work even if they were intentionally preferred to clash with my 1st preferences

Thanks for your help, I've sorted out most of the stuff on WES and enrolled in my law subjects, but it comes up with this:

Unit code   Action   Unit name   Campus   Semester   Type   Credits
LAW1101   Change
Remove
     Introduction to legal reasoning
ENROLLED    CLAY   Semester 1    DAY    6
LAW1104   Remove
     Research and writing
ENROLLED    CLAY   Semester 2    DAY    6
LAW2101   Remove
     Contract A
ENROLLED    CLAY   Semester 1    DAY    6
LAW2102   Remove
     Contract B
ENROLLED    CLAY   Semester 2    DAY    6
Total credits:   24

I'm doing a double degree (commerce/law), how come it doesn't come up with my commerce subjects? It won't let me add commerce subjects either. What do I do?

TIMETABLING IS REALLY CONFUSING -_____-

so we select the times for each lect/lab/tute that will meet the requirement of contact hours for that unit per week?

yep one of each and make sure if there are parts of one lecture/lab/tute that you get the other one (using mutts, its automatic for Allocate+)

yeah I don't think you can do those 4 in semester one (it doesn't work). The ENG1066 and ESC1011 lectures that you have to attend clash on tuesday so unless u plan on alternating lectures every week you have to choose different units for sem1.

Also some subjects don't have a tutorial (you would have lecture/lab/prac)

zzz thats annoying :S
would i be able to re-enrol now or should i wait until after enrolment day because re-enroling in units would give me a new transaction number?

I have no idea but you should ask someone at the info session they would probably know how to handle these problems :)
