Help me predict SS

moshi:
i'm not sure, but it's probably because 150 is 33% of the total required to calculate your study score

Aye Bay Bay:
Whoa, so if I got 42.5/75 on exam 1 I get a B+?

moshi:
lol the grades generally change just slightly every year, but i guess if you scored around there then yes!
what's your aim?

Aye Bay Bay:
I'm aiming for a B+ to an A. My original SAC average was 96% but the teacher moderated everyones SAC's scores.

--- End quote ---

In most subjects the exams are marked twice, so the score is doubled because it's just adding two people's marks together
But as the maths/science subjects are not as subjective (you're either right or wrong), they are usually marked by just one person and then doubled. =]

Also you have to keep in mind the quality of the exam when looking at those. Whenever the first year of the new biol study design was (2006 I think, I don't care I didn't do biol :P), everyone did terrible in the exam
